SummaryWere looking for a Senior Volunteering & Community Officer to join the team at Cliveden. If you have experience in volunteer management then wed like to hear from you.Please note this is a permanent role.This role is required to work with vulnerable groups including children and any offer of employment or volunteering is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.What its like to work hereClivedens Italianate mansion, riverside setting and family-friendly events draw visitors all year round, making this property a busy location with a wide range of opportunities. There is always plenty to do at the 375-acre estate, with conservation of the South Terrace among recent projects. Cliveden team are close-knit with a wonderful sense of community. The location is quiet, so youll need your own transport to get here.There are 3 catering outlets; The Conservatory Café, The Dolls House and Catering Kiosk for all visitors to enjoy a bit to eat! There are a series of impressive formal gardens with far-reaching views, an abundance of bedding change throughout the seasons and an intimate Rose Garden for those wanting a little bit of peace and tranquillity.What youll be doingYou will be managing the development and delivery of this portfolios strategic plan for volunteering and communities alongside the property leadership team. Managing and embedding change whilst widening and deepening our relationships with existing and new audiences.You will also increase the confidence and capability of others whilst creating a collective, flexible and inclusive environment for existing & future volunteers, communities and partners.Please see the role profile attached for more informationWho were looking forYoull need to have: Understanding and good practice of volunteer management. Understanding of good practice in community engagement and involvement, as well as broader participation and partnership working. Practical and successful experience of developing and implementing new products and approaches to volunteers. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Ability to coach and support those managing, supervising and working alongside volunteers and community partners.
