The role The job holder will work with marketing and business teams across the local UK market as well as liaising with global team colleagues, to support marketing automation and email campaigns. They will ensure that best practice & brandguidelines are followed and ensure a commercially focused approach and help drive maximum engagement from Pearson UKs customers, with a view to increase lead generation, advocacy and loyalty. Main activities and responsibilities This role will require youto be a subject matter expert in automated campaign management and system management. Make data-based recommendations for campaign automation and best practices Maintain and improve company-wide processes to ensure quality checkpoints are in place as partof the email deployment process Check emails for content best practice, branding, deliverability, accessibility and optimised customer journeys Build automation journeys and email templates Support work on form strategy, audit & build Work with the EcommerceProduct Owner to optimise eCommerce cart abandonment, post purchase Work with the marketing automation team to implement and manage nurture and engagement journeys including welcome email programmes, trial and evaluation, onboarding and renewals Ensure bestpractice is followed in the maintenance, accuracy and legality of email data lists, working with the marketing teams to run regular data cleansing and engagement campaigns. Work with data teams to ensure the integrity of automated data feeds QualificationsThe job holder will work with a wide range of teams in a range of locations and will have an important role to play in driving our evolution to a truly digital company. As such, the role requires an energetic, creative, and commercially minded individual with:Email Marketing experience Understanding of marketing automation and demonstrable understanding of what makes an effective email campaign Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to make consultative recommendations based on data and deepunderstanding of best practices and the business objectives Experience with web analytics systems, as well as various other digital analytics tools Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectivelyThe ability to enthuse and motivate people The ability to seek creative solutions to problems The ability to engage with the values and vision of the organisation The ability to set and follow processes and procedures with a high level of attention to detailbut flex these processes and procedures when the market or situation changes. Desirable skills Knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms, preferably Pardot and/or Marketing Cloud Understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce The ability to pick upnew systems rapidly, and follow processes systematically.
