Senior Development Executive - Student Support Development Office, University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford Grade 8: £42,149 - £50,296 (with a discretionary range to £54,943) per annumThis is an exciting opportunity to develop your career and raisephilanthropic income for Student Support, which is a major strategic priority for the University. This senior fundraising role will be responsible for developing significant external relationships and solicit major gift donations from organisations and highnet-worth individuals globally. The post holder will be responsible for fundraising for Student Support, focusing on where there is the greatest need and opportunity across the University and primarily on graduate scholarships. The role will form part of awider and recently expanded Student Support team, which also includes raising funds for Continuing Education and Sport.To be successful in this role you will be an experienced development professional with a strong track record in securing major gifts, orhave transferable skills within a target-orientated environment from a different sector. You will have a confident approach to achieving ambitious income targets. You will have a passion for social mobility and possess diplomacy, creativity and outstandingcommunication skills, as well as the ability to operate in a large, complex institution with multiple stakeholders.
