Job Description

Pay: L14 - L18 (£58,135 - £64,143) Start Date: January 2022 or sooner Permanent, Full time position. At Swale Academies Trust, the provision for our SEND pupils is ofparamount importance.Swale Academies Trust has 9 secondary academies spanning acrossKentand East Sussex.Our vision is to ensure that the provision for every SEND pupil isoutstanding. As a result, significant investment is being made to increase thecapacity of our SEND staffing structures within all of our secondary schools.We are seeking peoplewith leadership and SEND experience tobecome Assistant Headteachers with responsibility for SEND. You will have thestrategic oversight of SEND in one of our secondary schools and line manage theschools skilled SENCo and other key inclusion leads. You willprovide regularprogress updates to the schools senior leadership team as well as ensurestatutory SEND compliance and delivery of SEND Reforms. In order to fulfill this role, you will have plentiful continuingprofessional development opportunities and thesupport of our central SENDteam.
