Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a RNLD/RMN Clinical lead for an established complex care provider. This is a full time, permanent, field based role with frequent travel across South West England.Responsibilities of the role

  • Be the allocated nurse for individual clients, observing behaviours, applying positive behaviour support techniques and identifying a care plan which is unique to the individual with the end aim of improving behaviour and minimising behaviour that challenges
  • Conduct regular supervisions and annual appraisals
  • Offer guidance and support from a clinical perspective to care givers and ensure that the right restraint techniques are being used and the care plan is being adhered to
  • Complete daily records including incident and accident recording and adhere to confidentiality policies handling information appropriately, undertake investigations for incidents or complaints

Experience required
  • RNLD or RMN registration
  • Band 6 or equivalent
  • Experience in working with people who present with behaviours that challenge
  • To be resilient with the ability to work autonomously and to have excellent time management skills in order to manage your own case load
