Job Description

Regional Sales ManagerAre you someone who is passionate about providing an excellent customer experience and is driven by successAt Hambaker Pipelines we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to work in our Sales Team, with a primary purpose to deliver the sales strategy for the Hambaker Pipelines product offer. The role will directly contribute to the Companys overall strategy which is "To be the first choice for Customers and Employees" and to support the HambakerPipelines sales strategy and culture. The Regional Sales Manager will have a deep and thorough understanding of the strategic objectives for the Sales function and will be required to translate this into a clearly defined regional sales plan.The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the South of the Country with the main purpose, to maintain and continue the successful journey we are on. You will be part of a growing and technical sales team who report into the General Manager, withan internal "buddy" helping with your sales administration whilst you work autonomously in a 360 consultative role.This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business as we want our team at Hambaker Pipelines to be full of diverse and interesting people, and we are working hard to make sure everyone feels welcome.   • The ability to analyse data and understand numerical commercial data and be able to translate this into market/business implications is critical.
  • Solid technical understanding of building materials, the ability to offer technical solutions and the ability to manage a broad product range
  • Strong diligence and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organisation with internal partners and customers
  • Has strong communications skills and the ability to bring the "voice of our customers" into our business
  • Experience in selling within the Pressure Pipeline market and to major projects via consultants, contractors, and distributors across the South of England
What you will be doing:
  • You will be responsible for looking after and developing our existing customer base of merchants, contractors, and UK Water Plcs in the Southern half of the UK, as well as identifying and developing new ones.
  • Focus on major projects within the region including Fire Mains and negotiate these to fulfil sales revenue, volume, and gross margin targets
  • Supporting and developing existing Hambaker Pipelines customers as well as identifying new customer opportunities to deliver sales growth
  • Proactively uses tenacity and determination in selling alongside technical competence and relationship building to successfully identify opportunities and manage all customer queries and technical solutions.
  • Targeting Key contractors including Pump and M&E contractors, Tier 2 & 3 Utility partners
  • Building long term commercial successful relationships with Key distributors branches for all product ranges
