Project Manager / Deputy DirectorFixed Term (3 years) Full Time (4 days per week)Salary: c £55,000 to £62,000 Univ is seeking a project manager to support a proposed development project - Univ North - which represents the largest single expansion of theColleges accommodation for over three centuries. The project is currently at RIBA stage 4, with tender documentation being prepared for issue to the market for a principal construction contractor. The site is about 6 acres and the consented development comprises7 new buildings and 2 material refurbishments to create 150 new bed-spaces and a range of ancillary facilities, including a student caf, common performance space, gym and a nursery. This substantial project is vital to the College with the prospects of long-termlegacy running through this century and beyond. The successful candidate will operate as the Colleges project representative, working closely with the Finance Bursar and other key stakeholders. The role would suit a dynamic project manager with demonstrableexperience of managing several successful residential property developments of a similar scale. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing leadership in complex situations and displaying extraordinary skills managing different stakeholders needs inexecution of the project. A sound knowledge of project management methodologies and an appropriate professional qualification or equivalent in terms of experience are essential. This is an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for the right candidate.The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience gained. The post is on a fixed term contract (3 years) and is full-time (36.5 hours per week). Flexible working is possible, depending upon circumstances.
