Prospectus is excited to be supporting a compelling International Development organisation in its search for a Programme Management Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis (1 month with high possibility of contract extension). The role is fully home-working.Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will work closely with Country and Regional Offices, managing the effective delivery of a portfolio of defined projects with a particular focus on child protection and youth employability. You will facilitate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders representing the organisation with institutional donors and consortium partners. You will spearhead, monitor and evaluate projects in geographical areas including Bangladesh, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sierra Leone. You will ensure compliance with all donor contractual requirements, keeping up to date on key changes as well as liaising with technical advisors at both UK and country level to coordinate the appropriate provision of technical support. You will need to have project management experience, including financial oversight and will have experience of managing projects with institutional donors, particularly DFID/FCDO, the EU and UN. You will have experience of managing complex relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and experience of facilitating project implementation and capacity building with in-country colleagues. You will need to have a flair for budget management, ideally multi-million-pound budgets and an interest in child rights programming and/or gender equality.
