Job Description

Responsible for the development and growth of sales and ongoing support of my clients customers for the full range of metal detection equipment. To manage the pipeline of opportunities from lead generation right through to final negotiation and order closing.Client DetailsWith over 80 years experience my client is a global leader in separation technologies. Their commitment to innovation has positioned them as a driving market force in several key technology areas, including magnetic separation, flotation, metal detectionand material handling equipment.Description

  • Specify and quote suitable metal detection solutions for customers across the broad range of industries which the business serve.
  • Keep record of all communication with customers on our CRM system.
  • Contact existing customers, new customers, key account customers, agents & affiliates regarding all metal detection sales and technical enquiries to help support continued sales growth and development.
  • Take a proactive approach to contacting potential customers throughout the UK and Europe and undertake site visits/surveys, where required.
  • Frequent strategic sales travel (approx. 40%) to visit existing and new customers alike.
  • Support other members of the sales and management team with regards to metal detection equipment.
  • Monitor and report sales activity of metal detection equipment to senior management on a weekly basis.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, throughout the UK and Europe.
  • Conduct training of team members, customers, agents and affiliates.
Profile
  • Degree level qualified but not essential, dependent upon experience.
  • 7+ years experience in a technical sales role.
  • Experience within the packaging or process equipment sector preferred, other candidates will be considered based on their individual merits.
  • Ability to travel independently as frequent travel required to further develop the metal detection product sales.
  • Ability to build new relationships and open new doors for the company.
  • Target orientated and with a great entrepreneurship mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and great presentation skills.
