We are looking for someone who can lead our small but dedicated team in delivering outstanding experiences consistently, brilliantly, and memorably. Youll be vital to the success of the Birmingham Back to Backs - a busy and thriving site in the heartof the city, welcoming 32,000 visitors every year. Youll quickly work out what makes this small place tick, and youll inspire and lead a team of staff and volunteers with enthusiasm, dynamism, inclusivity and collaboration as part of the wider Birminghamteam.Youll be responsible for all aspects of the business - from managing staff and volunteers, to ensuring a great visitor experience. Youll maintain high standards of presentation and make sure our conservation needs are met. Youll also be responsiblefor the business itself - accountability for designated budgets (including commercial income, wages, and projects), ensuring compliance, and taking on Duty Management alongside the staff team. Youll make sure were achieving our shared goals as well as ourindividual objectives, and youll leading on our project to refresh what we offer at the Back to Backs.Meanwhile, over at the Clent Hills, youll be ensuring our visitors are met with a warm welcome and high standard of service, and youll be working closelyalongside the General Manager in delivering the National Trusts vision for heritage in an urban setting. This means growing and broadening our audience, welcoming more people in more ways, connecting with our local communities, and being a good partner withinthe city.Were looking for a leader.
