OverviewOne of Dukes leading consultancys, Lawyer Portal are looking for an Online Editor to take a leadership role in creating, commissioning and curating content for our popular website for aspiring lawyers.The RoleWould you like the chance to buildon your online content skills to drive the growth of a leading website Do you want a varied, fast-paced role that ranges from content production and digital marketing to client liaison and people managementWere looking for someone who can hit the groundrunning and breathe new life into The Lawyer Portal website. The ideal candidate is a skilled digital communicator with at least two years of experience in online content.Youll be a great online writer, editor and content producer, with at least two yearsonline experience, spanning website copywriting, newsletter creation and social media management. Youll also have solid experience - and a keen interest - in SEO and content marketing.Youll work closely with our Head of Content Marketing to execute the 2022content strategy and make sure our commercial partnerships are delivered well. Youll take ownership of the social media strategy and newsletters and oversee a pool of content contributors.Your regular tasks will include updating existing content, producingguides, commissioning and editing blogs, publishing sponsored content, building newsletters, planning social media calendars, researching keywords and other SEO opportunities, and joining client meetings.Role Objectives To transform a website thats had triple-digityear-on-year traffic growth To take ownership of improving on-site engagement through content To facilitate the development of ecommerce opportunities on the websiteRole Requirements At least two years experience in writing specifically for online At leasttwo years experience with social media and newsletters Strong copywriting skills across online, social media and newsletters Proven experience in audience development A solid understanding of what content performs well on websites, and why A solid understandingof SEO, content marketing & performance metrics Experience with tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush Experience with WordPress is a big plusWere particularly keen to hear from anyone with a law degree, or experience working for a law firm.
