Job Description

Maxxima are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to fill a Neuro/ Brain Injury Rehab role in Derby. The successful candidate will be offering clinical support across Traumatic Brain Injury and the Neuro Out Patient Therapy Service providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention. Skills and experience in Neurological Occupational Therapy are required as you will be treating patients with a range of neurological conditions including traumatic brain injury. There are 2 positions available, 1 full time and 1 covering Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays. The pay rate for this OT role is dependent on experience but up to £25 per hour (umbrella).Requirements of this OT vacancy:• Being an integral profession of the MDT Spasticity Service delivering botulinum toxin injections to patients with neurological conditions.• Completing risk assessments to triage Spasticity Management patients.• Providing neuro splinting, casts, or taping to outpatients with a range of neurological conditions. This includes off the shelf and bespoke fabrication.• Providing neuro orthotic devices to inpatients with neurological conditions.Spasticity management, neuro splinting or splinting skills desirable.Why Work With MaxximaThe minute you register with Maxxima, we make it about one thing: you.
