Learning Support Assistant - Mental Health Support Worker Wiltshire - Education and Training - Mental Health Support Worker WiltshireThis MHSW and LSA role focuses on students in a specialist provision and college with Complex Social Needs and Autism - your role will encompass raising attainment by working 1:1, in small groups and as part of a whole classroom setting. Your students will be from a very diverse, wide range of backgrounds, your approach will have to be fluid to work well.Immediate start, 5 days a week, working with some of the most vulnerable children in society. The aim of this role is to show the value of education. The mainstream curriculum hasnt worked for the students, this role is about showing them a new way, valuing education and keeping them out of the Criminal justice system.Do you require a placement before starting your MSc/Research project This role will not guarantee you a placement onto an MSc but it will help you qualify and disqualify certain areas for yourself.This role is all about positive reinforcement and understanding the mental health and contexts of the vulnerable boys you are working with. If you have aspirations within Psychology, Education and Social Care, these are the experiences that you need to have and witness to ensure this the environment and career path for you. Sincerity is the key quality when you begin this role.LSA role to begin immediately, within a Specialist SEMH school for boys who have been excluded from their mainstream education. All will have an EHCP and a range of need, they have all been tragically let down by the adult world. As a result, empathy and patience are key in this role, the seeds you plant to aid students in their behaviour and recovery, you will not often get to see grow.
