Maths Academic Mentor | Croydon We are very pleased to be working alongside a forward-thinking and dynamic Secondary School in Croydon to appoint a confident, passionate and enthusiastic Maths Graduate to work as an Academic Mentor for the 2021-2022 academic year. Starting in September 2021, you will be tasked with increasing the engagement levels and attainment levels in Maths for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The students you will be working with will have been identified as requiring additional support largely due to gaps in knowledge that have emerged during the pandemic. Supporting GCSE groups will form part of your focus. The successful Maths Academic Mentor will help students to understand tricky mathematical concepts, build their confidence and self-esteem by highlighting their strengths and will need to be able to find creative ways to relate Maths to the real-world.
