Job Description

Wiltshire Air AmbulanceMarketing Data OfficerUp to £28,000Hybrid working from WiltshireMake a huge difference in this wonderful and life saving team! Use your experience with data and CRM to really have impact.SUMMARY & MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBWiltshire Air Ambulance (WAA) is a small but expanding charity providing an essential helicopter emergency medical service to people living, working, and travelling across Wiltshire and Bath.The role will support colleagues in the charity team by building, delivering and optimising donor journeys across the supporter lifecycle. Youll facilitate advanced queries based on existing databases to assist with our fundraising and marketing strategy.Youll help execute effective campaigns, working collaboratively to understand objectives, develop plans and share actionable insights to improve performance.Proactively analyse and evaluate marketing campaigns to drive performance and provide management with guidance as to how this can be completed with empirical evidence.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce data selections and data and exports to help drive vital marketing and fundraising activities as per the schedule provided by the relevant team member.
    • Work with Senior Managers to assist with strategic reporting, analysis, and data modelling.
    • Track performance of pro-active fundraising, marketing and communications and produce reports for Senior Managers.
    • Ensure supporter data is always communicated effectively in line with supporter preferences.
    • Contribute to enhance supporter retention and recruitment across the charity.
    • Monitor any major donor and mid-value activity and flag to the Fundraising Team.
    • Work closely with Tower Lotteries and import into ThankQ whilst adhering to the data format rules.
    • Working closely with the Data and Information Manager, ensure data entry adheres to data protection laws and GDPR legislation.
    • Working with an external partner to audit and cleanse/enhance the supporter data on an ongoing basis working to the agreed data maintenance schedule.
    KEY REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
    • Previous CRM experience including the management and maintenance of a database.
    • Ability to work with and manipulate data to support charitable activities, plus the understanding to track, monitor, evaluate and report on progress and results.
    • Ability to work with and manage expectations of a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders is desirable.
    • Excellent attention to detail, as well as time management and organizational skills (essential).
    • Knowledge of the charity industry would is desirable.
