Job Description

Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Male Team Leader to our team in Stockport, Greater Manchester.We are looking fora knowledgeable, resourceful and energetic Male Team Leader to manage our teams across two supported living services in Stockport, Greater Manchester.On one site we provide support to 4 male service users with complex needs, learning disabilities and Autismusing Positive Behavioural Support plans. We have day staff and waking night staff who provide consistent person-centred support to these individuals. All of the service users have a mobility vehicle and enjoy taking trips out into the community on a dailybasis. No two days will be the same, as our service users have a wide range of interests including: visiting the airport to watch the planes, watching darts, football and other sports on TV, playing ball games in the garden, going for bike rides and many more!Ourother site in Stockport supports 5 male with varying levels of learning disabilities. This is a sleep in service and service users are more independent, with many accessing the local community alone. They enjoy many activities including: spending time in thegarden, attending their day services, watching TV, playing on their games console and supporting their local football team!Team Leader Duties: Day to day support of all service users can include support with personal care, medication, managing health and well-being,dietary requirements and other domestic tasks. Supporting service users to enjoy their days to the fullest whilst supporting independence Encouraging them to develop new skills Write clear assessments, support plans and guidelines and work positively withina consistent, mutually supportive team ethos Lead a team with confidence and provide clear supervisions and support to your team members. Being a part of our local on call serviceYou will be required to manage rotas and within this work in a flexible mannerincluding working evenings, weekends and sleep-ins as required and bank holidays on occasions.This role offers unique and challenging opportunities bringing great job satisfaction and wonderful development and career opportunities.
