Logistics Analyst£23,500 - £28,500WiltshireGrafton UK are recruiting for a market leading safety platform specialists to source an experienced Logistics Analyst to provide analytical support and organise transportation for the business.To be considered for the role, you must have previous experience managing freight payment process and have a good understanding of national and local shipping customs and regulations.The role will report to the Supply Chain Manager and will focus on the below:* Performing post audit and file freight claims * Coordinating transportation activities and ensuring any related concerns are resolved * Liaising with insurance stakeholders regarding claims* Providing import and export based customs clearance* Providing freight pricing and quotations for various customers and industries* Confidently using analytical capabilities to find innovative way to drive down cost whilst maintaining service levels * Managing all import and export paperwork to ensure smooth delivery to customers and incoming materials* Tracking incoming and outgoing materials to ensure receipt in location in a timely manner * Conducting variance and financial analysis for service and quality * Assisting in strategy development regarding service levels, budgets and improvement projects Requirements:* Customs Compliance Knowledge such as MAWB, HAWB, C88, Import Entries* At least 3 years in a similar role * Strong understanding of logistics processes in particular shipping * Experience of working in a fast paced environment* Competent in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook) and SAP (desirable but not essential) * Excellent communication & analytical skills Commutable from:Chippenham, Swindon, Newbury, Amesbury HOW TO APPLY:To be considered for this role, please click on the link provided.
