Pay: Kent Range3 (TA) Start Date: Immediate We are looking for a highlyskilled Teaching Assistant to join our excellent team in Sept 2021. This is a full-time appointment(27.5hrs per week - term time only - plus INSET) 8.55am to 3.25pm, Monday toFridayThe successful candidate will beworking in Key Stage 2, supporting the class teacher. You will work primarilyin the classroom alongside the class teacher or lead small groups workingtowards specific learning targets. You would also be expected to support andencourageappropriate learning behaviours and attitudes. Experience of working withchildren in an educational setting is required along with: good English and Mathematicalskillsrelevant qualifications NVQ 2 and3 in childcare and learning (level 2 only may be acceptableif a willingness towork towards NVQ3 can be demonstrated)flexibility and use ofinitiativestrong communicationskillsexperience of working withchildren in Key Stage 2the ability to work alongside aspart of a teampatience and understanding of theways differentchildren learna commitment to safeguarding andpromoting the welfare of children.This post is subject toan enhanced DBS disclosure.
