HR ADVISOR - HUMAN RESOURCES EXETER CITY COUNCILContract Type: PermanentHours: Part Time - 18.5 hoursSalary: Grade F (£22,627 - £24,491 pro-rata)Team: Human Resources Support Services (HRSS)Location: Exeter, DevonExeter City Council is a highly ambitious and innovative authority in one of the most economically successful cities in the UK and has its sights firmly fixed on creating a City that is inclusive, healthy and sustainable.The HR Advisor team are the first point of contact for HR customers and stakeholders and as such are fine-tuned multitaskers who strive to deliver a cost-effective and customer-centric experience, all in accordance with relevant employment related legislation, guidance, policies and best practice.We are now offering the opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated HR Advisor to join our newly structured HR team in an exciting, challenging and rewarding environment on a part-time basis.The ideal candidate would be somebody that is well versed in HR as well as having the ability to seamlessly overcome challenges and work effectively as part of a team to manage conflicting deadlines simultaneously.You must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of delivering administration across the full HR portfolio including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning & Development and Absence Management and will need CIPD Level 3 or be currently working towards gaining this, or be prepared to do so.In addition you will help provide assistance with intermediate level Employee Relations caseload as well as contributing to the development of the wider HR Strategy and the Councils corporate objectives.Exeter City Council offers a flexible working scheme (including flexi time and home working), 22 days annual leave (pro-rata) rising to 25 days (pro-rata) after five years service, and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme together with an Additional Voluntary Contribution scheme.The ideal working pattern would be Monday - Wednesday however other working patterns may be considered for the right candidate.
