Northern Ballet breaks down barriers to world-class ballet. We tell unexpected stories that move audiences across the country and online. We aim to reach as many different people and places as possible with our passionate storytelling, mastery of classicaldance technique and live music.We are looking for an exceptional Head of Communications to join our award-winning Communications & Digital department for a one-year contract. You will be a very experienced Marketing professional, ready to hit the ground running,leading all activities to promote the work of the Company, meet ticket sales targets and generate new audiences for our extensive national tour.Reporting to the Director of Communications & Digital, you will be responsible for seeing that the day-to-day workof the Communications team is undertaken effectively and on time, and that the work of our busy design department is well organised and prioritised appropriately. You will work closely with colleagues in generating ticket pricing and on-sale schedules forthe tour and will be the first point of contact for the Communications needs of the Development department and will support the work of Leeds Dance Partnership.We believe in the power to change lives through dance and are committed to engaging with peoplefrom all different sectors of the community. We have an absolute commitment to our leading role as an international ambassador for world-class dance, often showcasing our exceptional home-grown artistry on the world-stage.Salary £35,000Contract One-year fixedterm, 35 hours per week. Flexible working of 28 hours would be considered.
