A comprehensive, mixed secondary school and sixth form is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their Inclusion team to start ASAP. This is a full time, permanent position. Working hours are 33 hrs per week between the hours of 8:00amand 3:50pm, term time only.This school offers a caring and inclusive environment and prides itself on its exceptional team of teaching and support staff who are committed to providing an inspirational learning environment for their students. There is a designatedASD provision on site, allowing students to access the mainstream curriculum with high levels of specialised support.As Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be providing in-class support to students with a range of needs. Reporting to the SENCO and classteachers, you will be providing academic and pastoral support to students to help them to reach their potential.You will also have the responsibility of planning and delivering intervention and booster sessions for small groups of students.The school is lookingfor a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is looking to pursue a career in education and gain classroom experience. Previous experience working with children will be highly regarded.Located in Sutton, the school is situated on an expansive green site, with state-of-the-artlabs, specialist classrooms and excellent sporting facilities.
