Job Description

Graduate Property Portfolio Manager£25,000 - £35,000 per annumHarrowFull Time, PermanentAre you a recent graduate looking for a career in Property in Harrow Then our client has a fantastic opportunity to join their growing business as a Graduate Property Portfolio Manager.Our client is a Private Landlord and Property Development Business established in 1993, they are stable, growing and pride themselves on their open, friendly approach.In this role as a Graduate Property Portfolio Manager you will look after and manage a portfolio of over 200 properties with a value of over £75m, comprising a mix of regular AST tenants and leasehold flats. Your role will include:

  • Arranging repairs
  • Dealing with contractors and finding new ones
  • Giving contractors instructions
  • Inspecting the works for quality and snagging
  • Drafting AST tenancy agreements and checking inventory reports
  • Arranging renewals, deposit deductions for damages
  • Opening and checking new files and compliance
  • Ground rent and Full Block Management
The ideal candidate will have graduated in the last 3 years and be enthusiastic about learning the property business. Our client is looking for someone who is/has:

  • Excellent written and oral English
  • UK Driving licence and use of car
You will have 9 GCSEs, 3 A Levels or equivalent and achieved at least a 2:1 in their degree.The employer will encourage learning and further training and you will be supported and expected to study for either ARLA or IRPM or both.In return you will receive a favourable salary of up to £35K and an excellent benefits package and car usage allowance.Office hours are 9.00am5.30pm Monday to Friday, plus emergency mobile phone cover when the repairs manager is on leave. You will be out the office and on site c.1 day per week.
