Hampshire County Council are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Team Manager to join our Fostering Service. The appointed Team Manager will be responsible for the Fostering Support Team for the East of Hampshire.In this role you will manage a team of Supervising, Children and Families Support Workers and Placement Stability Workers. As a Fostering Team Manager, you will be overseeing a busy team whose focus is to providing high quality supervision, support, and training to foster carers to ensure foster carers are equipped to meet the challenges of the role and provide placement stability to Hampshires Children in Care.You will be a confident and experienced manager or a practitioner who has previously supervised others with a sound knowledge of the Fostering Regulations and Minimum Standards and be committed to delivering a service of the highest standard. You will have experience of managing assessments and budgets as well as working with foster carers. A confident leader and excellent communicator, you will be able to work well with both internal and external partners and colleagues.
