Job Description

Start Date: September 2021 Pay: KR6 (pro rata) Are YOU our new Forest School Leader We are looking for a positive, passionate andcaring Forest School Leader to lead our fabulous on-site Forest School.The successful candidate will be provided with the resources required tofurther enhance our Forest School and the support needed to runsessions for our fabulous children, including an experienced Forest SchoolAssistant. Do you want to work as part of a team toensure that all children achieve their potential in a happy and safeenvironment Do you enjoy opportunities to have a positive impact on childrenAre you a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader (or have a commitment togaining this award) If so, this could be the role for you! Hours of work: 38 weeks of the year (term timeonly) 12.5 hours per week: Monday and Tuesday 12.30-3.15pm, Wednesday12.30 - 5.15pm, 2.25 hours planning and evaluation, at a time to suitsuccessful candidate. Salary: Kent Range 6. Full Time Equivalent:£20,997. Actual Pro-rata salary: £5,944.80 We are seeking a candidates who will: Work as an effective team player;Be self-motivated;Effectively promote the vision, aims and positiveethos of the school;Be innovative and enthusiastic;Have high expectations ofchildrens development and behaviour. Do you have these attributes Level 3 Forest School Leaderqualification, or a commitment to working towards this;Experience of working with children and/ orin schools; Excellent communication and interpersonalskills;The ability to be flexible andadaptable;Organised and able to workindependently. Visits to the school are encouraged- please callthe school office to book a distanced/ outdoor tour.
