With a history of over 1000 years, Winchester City Mill is probably the oldest working watermill in the UK. A rare survivingexample of an urban working corn mill, the City Mill was rebuilt in 1744. Having entered the care of the National Trust in the late 1920s, the City Mill was restored back to full working order in 2004.What youll be doingWith your love of working with people,positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, youll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet. Using your excellent attention to detail, youll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food servedlooks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.To be successful in this role, youll be:Someone who will be around to work in the week and schoolholidays and have some front of house catering experience Helpful & Friendly Customer focused with a positive attitude Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn A team player, but also can work on your own initiative Desire to take up catering as a career withthe potential for training and apprenticeships schemes.
