Events ManagerThe Events Manager is responsible for all aspects of the organisation and delivery of a busy and varied events and lettings calendar within the School, the primary focus being Charterhouse branded and external third-party residential groupsin the summer and Easter holidays, supplemented at different times throughout the year by a variety of one-off events such as concerts, weddings and TV/cinema filming.This unique role also includes the management of the Charterhouse Young Learners (CYL) SummerCourse a boarding school taster experience for children (typically from mainland China) aged 8 to 12 years considering UK boarding education at senior school. The course will be reintroduced into the Events calendar for the summer 2023, following a three yearbreak due to COVID. The post-holder will be responsible for all aspects of the organisation and delivery of this course working closely with our sales and marketing partners, primarily in China.The core hours are 37.5 hours per week based on a 5-day workingweek over seven days as required to fulfil the duties of the post and will require some evening and weekend working including occasional late night working after midnight. A significant proportion of the events business at Charterhouse falls during CharterhouseSchool holidays.
