Job Description

Electrical Engineering Manager A large and well-established main contractor who specialise in design, installations, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join their team.Duties and Responsibilities of Electrical Engineering Manager As a manager within the business and Senior Management Team you will be expected to set an example throughout the business ensuring promotion and demonstration of the company values. You will be solely responsible for the formulation of the annual departmentbusiness plan, aligned to business strategic objectives and goals as well as ensuring the smooth running of the Electrical department.Requirements of Electrical Engineering Manager

  • Experienced with working in a design capacity on a full range of industry-based engineering products.
  • Has a clear understanding of contract models, project finances and its relationship to project technical compliance.
  • Experience within the water industry
  • Experience working with process control & intelligent P&IDs.
  • Experience in CAD design (AutoCAD Electrical is preferred)
  • Experienced working knowledge of PAS 1192 / BS EN ISO 19650 (BIM Level 2)
  • Experience of using Microsoft packages.
  • Understanding of typical construction project lifecycle and project management in line with APM principals as well as an in depth understanding of project and corporate governance
  • An industry applicable B.Eng
  • Chartered Engineer (preferred)
  • Knowledge of water and sewage treatment processes including chemical dosing process.
