Job Description

Title: Electrical EngineerAre you a highly motivated, determined Electrical Engineer who enjoys a challenge and is keen to get involvedElectrical Engineer required in SomersetLocation: SomersetThe Role of Electrical Engineer:Joining the engineering team you will be involved in the full product life cycle from initial concepts to full scale commercial production. In addition to in-house product development you will also support customer projects on a global basis.What are the key (minimum) requirements for a successful Electrical Engineer application

  • An engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
  • Experience of DC Motors and motor control theory is essential, as is a proven ability to program embedded C for Microchip PIC controllers. You should also have good experience with electronic (schematic and PCB) design, and a knowledge of Power Electronics design.
  • You should be comfortable writing test specifications, carrying out tests and writing up reports.
  • It is desirable to have a good understand of engineering drawings and design tools such as DFMEA, ISIR etc. Experienced in use of test equipment, Oscilloscope, function generators etc would be a benefit.
