The Marston Green site deals with the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of hydro-mechanical and electronic units for some of the worlds biggest airlines.The Environment, Health & Safety(EH&S) Team strives to provide a best-in-class support service to over 280 employees. We are looking to recruit an EH&S professional within our EH&S function at Marston Green, Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world renowned aerospace Companyand an EH&S team which is continually leading the way to promote a healthy and safer workplaces for all employees. Responsibilities Review, update and internal auditing to both government legal compliance and corporate requirementsInvestigation of Near Misses,Unsafe Conditions, First Aid Incidents, using relentless root cause analysisCollect and collate raw data analyse and report to site and corporate teams using face to face and bespoke reporting toolEnsure investigations and corrective actions are managed effectivelyto closureCarry out EHS Inductions and training as required, conduct reviews and updates of training packs as requiredSite implementation of corporate EHS Programs and best practices into the documented Site proceduresSupport continued accreditation to bothISO 14001 Environmental Management system & 50001 Energy Management system including conducting internal audits, reporting of sustainability targets and participating in external audits / reviewsProvide information, training, instruction, and advice to operationalmanagement and employeesProvide internal and external data and reports as required for key HSE metrics and KPIs Review and revision of health, safety & environmental policies, plans, documented procedures and formsComplete, Review Job Hazard Analysis, Ergonomicand COSHH Assessments for Risk Identification / reductionReporting of the sites monthly Environmental Health and Safety metricsMonitor closure of action itemsProduce presentations for communication of monthly & annual Environmental Health & Safety information,also annual Management review for 14001 / 50001 standards Skills, Knowledge and Abilities 5 years previous experience in a Health Safety Environmental role with Facilities / Maintenance experience desirable.NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent Knowledge/ experience of ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 50001 Energy Management systemsExperience of completing Internal AuditsExperienced within the aerospace or manufacturing sectorsGood verbal and written communication skills Proficient in the use ofMicrosoft office (Word Excel, PowerPoint)Experience of completing Risk Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, COSHH Assessments Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision,in order to meet deadlines Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/AffirmativeAction Employer.
