Job Description

DSP Engineer required for a sucesful Audio business in the South West with a turnover of £39million, with thousands of their hardware and software product being used by thousands everyday.As the company continues to dominate within the industry, they are looking to grow the Tech team with an experienced DSP Engineer to support on the development of the firmware which is at the heart of the companies streaming products.Using your combined experience of embedded software, electronics, and audio DSP techniques you will work with the new product development team on the design and realisation of the next generation of world class audio products. A great opportunity for anEngineer wanting to be involved and work collaboratively on the creative journey of new releases.An interest in Audio systems isnt necessary but highly beneficial for this role.This role is remote heavy, with an expectation of a few days per month in the HQ based in the South WestSkills:

  • Strong C programming skills (flexible on years of exp)
  • Knowledge around MATLAB
  • Experience of working on real-time embedded systems, preferably using Analog Devices SHARC devices.
  • Some audio DSP experience with techniques such as filter design, sample rate conversion, FFT, and dynamic range control.
  • Personal interest in audio related topics.
  • Familiarity with electronics design and debugging techniques.
  • History of working in a commercial environment designing embedded software for complex electronics products.
  • Familiarity with modern software development tools and techniques (Git, Jira, Agile).
  • Proactive approach to documentation and collaborative development.
