The Greater Cambridge Partnership is looking for an experienced digital communicator to join our team to lead on improving our website and managing online content.As a digital media officer within the GCP communications team, you will support the development and effective use of our online platforms, ensuring high standards and guidelines are met to maximise engagement and accessibility.Your industry knowledge and innovative approach will help tell our story in a fresh and engaging way to our online communities - as well as target and reach new online communities to raise awareness, understanding and support for the benefits our programme will bring.Your experience of managing CMS and digital communications, developing and curating sharable content across a range of online channels will be invaluable. You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to translate complex projects into plain English for online channels.You will need to have a flexible approach as occasional evening and weekend work will be needed.The Greater Cambridge Partnership is delivering a 15-year programme to support sustainable economic growth across Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire: creating a better, greener, smarter transport network, accelerating the supply and affordability of new homes and ensuring local employers can access workers with the relevant skills.The GCP is a partnership between Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, and Cambridge University.
