B:Music are seeking an accomplished Development Manager, who ideally has experience of raising funds from individuals. This position would be ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their development/fundraising career and work as part of a supportiveand ambitious teamB:Music is the charity responsible for Birmingham Town Hall and Symphony Hall. We are an arts charity who love to make great music happen! From our two venues we are home to everything from internationally renowned classical, rock and popartists to award winning comedians. Our work also embraces talent development and learning and participation; we break down barriers; empowering people from across the region to experience the joy and power of live music. We are at the heart of Birminghamscultural centre and as a registered charity, we have one mission: to inspire a love of live music, through performance, participation, and learning.The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in development or fundraising but experiencein the arts is not necessary. They will have strong analytical skills; the ability to build effective working relationships and a real desire to build sustainable income. Given the role and the nature of the charity there is the need to occasionally work atweekends and in the evening.
