Pay: L9-L13 Start Date: September 2021We seek to appoint aforward-thinking, innovative and inspirational Deputy Headteacher for ourpopular village school. The successful applicants will be:Responsible for a class - 2 daysa weekReleased for Leadership Time - 3days a weekWe want a Deputy who is motivated,enthusiastic, willing to lead by example and is passionate about every childreceiving an outstanding education. The successful candidate will haveskills and experience in the following: Successful leadership andmanagement skills in a primary settingWill teach children to a highstandard when in class and be a role model to other teachers in theschoolSchool improvement planning andself-evaluationDemonstrable experience ofsuccessful line management and staff developmentSkills and Knowledge: Data analysis skills, and theability to use data to set targets and identify weaknessesUnderstanding of high-qualityteaching, and the ability to model this for others and support others toimproveUnderstanding of school financesand financial managementEffective communication andinterpersonal skillsAbility to communicate a visionand inspire othersAbility to build effectiveworking relationshipsPersonal Qualities A commitment to getting the bestoutcomes for all pupils and promoting the ethos and values of theschoolAbility to work under pressureand prioritise effectivelyCommitment to maintainingconfidentiality at all timesCommitment to safeguarding andequality, ensuring that personal beliefs are not expressed in ways that exploitthe position.In your role you will: Work closely with the HOS and EXTto develop and implement the strategic vision for the school.Work closely with the PhaseLeaders to improve standards and pupil progress in order for every child toachieve their full potential.Play a key role in thedevelopment of CPD.Successful applicants will:Have excellent interpersonalskills with the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues.Have a good sense ofhumour!Be committed to the ChristianEthos of the school.We will help you to develop asuccessful candidate professionally, ensuring you have opportunities in allareas of school life.
