Job Description

Location: Warmley (potential to be based at other locations - please see below) Contract Type: Permanent Hours per week: 35 Salary: Between £22,633 and £25,908 per annum, depending on experience Are you an experienced leader and manager seeking a new opportunityCould you make an important contribution to a vital service which positively improves the lives of people affected by a lack of mobility As a result of a review of our operating structure, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Manager to join ourMobility Aids Service based in Warmley*, covering South West England and South Wales..In this role, youll be responsible for supporting with the implementation and continuous improvement of our operating model in the service, which allows customers to accessmobility items, such as wheelchairs, online and in person at our outlets.The MAS Delivery Manager is responsible for a team of Volunteer Coordinators, ensuring a high standard of volunteer management and team leadership to create, supervise and support a servicedelivery team in each outlet. *The Hub for the South West England and South Wales area is located in Warmley, South Gloucestershire. We envisage the successful candidate being based either from that Hub, or alternatively from one of the Mobility Aids ServiceSpokes located in its geographical footprint, for example Abingdon, Poole, Exeter, Newport, or Quedgeley. Please note that regular travel to sites across the area covered by the role will be required.We use kindness to help those in crisis... The British RedCross Mobility Aids Service are committed to ensuring that during a period of personal crisis everyone has access to the equipment they need, whoever and wherever they are. We offer hire and loan of wheelchairs and other mobility items, as well as trainingon how to properly use them. As such, we give people the ability to continue living independently without the need for outside help, whilst also easing peoples transition to living at home again following a hospital stay. In part of the territory, we haverelationships with health commissioners to provide equipment that allows people to maintain their independence whilst living with a health condition.
