They are part of a business with a ground-breaking offering and driving consumer demand generation, best-in-class commerce technologies and leading external partnershipsto deliver for clients a fully managed commerce serviceThe role:As a MySQL DBA, you will contribute to the DevOps team by maintaining and expanding database infrastructure to service the requirements of the development teams and the business. You will be monitoring and maintaining the database infrastructure day to day,resolving developer queries with performance and job running. You will be able to triage and resolve database issues within our MySQL infrastructure and contribute towards the architecture of our future database systems, both on-premise and in the cloud.Qualifications:* BSc Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience* 4+ years of SQL DBA experienceRequired skills:* Strong MySQL Skills* Good understanding of database infrastructure, maintenance, administration, and design.* Experience of database performance tuning* Knowledge of Cloud database systems such as AWS RDS* Ability to triage and resolve complex database issues including production incidents* Good documentation skills* Proven self-starter* Experience with opensource Desirable skills:* Database monitoring and telemetry* Expertise in DB infrastructure capacity planning* Knowledge of other DB engines such as MSSQL* Experience with and knowledge of Data Warehouse infrastructureInterestedIf you would like any further information please reach out to Olly Hannon on / About ReCultureWere a culture-driven recruitment business for high-growth businesses.
