There is excellent scope for career progression, andyou will have an exciting journey along the way.Opportunity Awaits: Electronics Designer Barclay Meade is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit an Electronics Course Designer on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Lyneham depot. The Course Design Team is a team oftraining professionals with various technical backgrounds including Communications, Radar, Control Systems, Medical/ Dental Automotive, Metal smiths, Armaments that design, develop and support courses.Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop training courses from Training Objectives (TOs) produced by our client.
  • Produce controlled Course Training Package (CTP) documents for both equipment and career courses in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training.
  • Produce and evaluate précis, examinations and assessment packages.
  • Carry out any other tasks as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times. Qualifications and experience:
  • Ability to research new subjects, design and develop new materials for précis, assessments and projects.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Degree qualified on Electronics and have skills in control electronics, electronic counter measures, applied electronics. Ex military but this isnt essential
  • Teaching Qualification or Defence Train The Trainer Course would be desirable but not essential
  • Engineering teaching experience in further education would be an advantage
