Salary Range: £26,544 - £29,583 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £13,272 - £14,791 per annum)Work Location: Hampshire Record Office, WinchesterHours per week: 18.5Contract Type: Temporary (2 Years)Closing Date: 5 September 2021We have an exciting opportunityfor an experienced archive conservator to play a key role in leading conservation work at Hampshire Archives and Local Studies, a high performing Accredited archives service with outstanding Designated collections.You will be responsible for managing and deliveringconservation and preservation for the Service, with a particular focus on developing opportunities for income generation and managing grant-funded work. Initially you would be the sole conservator but there would be the potential for expanding the team throughgrant-funded projects.You will have a recognised professional qualification in archive conservation, be on the accreditation pathway through a professional body such as ICON or ARA, and have at least 3 years post-qualification practical experience, with ahigh level of manual dexterity. You will also have good interpersonal skills and communications skills.
