Job Description

Join a vibrant team as a Compliance Officer and contribute to ensuring products meet regulatory standards seamlessly.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the technical team to research compliance frameworks, swiftly identifying and addressing any gaps.
  • Coordinates testing, review, and validation processes to ensure adherence to compliance frameworks.
  • Efficiently manages testing procedures to encompass diverse compliance requirements across EU & UK markets (CE versus UKCA & UKNI).
  • Maintains comprehensive product technical files showcasing compliance, including test reports, certificates, calculations, and in-house testing data.
  • Keeps a meticulous compliance register up to date, summarising compliance status, expiration dates, and review schedules.
  • Stays abreast of relevant standards, ensuring timely re-testing to avoid using outdated standards for compliance demonstration.
  • Fosters continual development of compliance and product knowledge, serving as a primary point of contact for compliance audits and inquiries.
  • Attends technical committee meetings of the industry body, representing the organisation and facilitating crucial information dissemination and actionable insights for ongoing compliance.
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by management as the need arises.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in compliance management within a technical environment preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
