You may have already completed a communications role, course, or internship, or offered first class administration and team support experience and be looking to take a first step into a communications career. Some experience of communications work would be a benefit but not essential.What will you be doingThe Communications Office is now looking for an external communications coordinator, a key admin position in the office to ensure the smooth running of the team, with the opportunity to gain experience across a range of communications disciplines.In addition to general administrative responsibilities, you will gain experience in providing photography and videography support, particularly in ensuring appropriate storage, upkeep and use of our catalogue of digital assets.You will have great judgment and be keen to take the initiative. You will be a proactive, motivated team-player, who is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels as well as being committed to offering a wide range of support functions to a high standard at all times.In return, the Communications Office offers a friendly, collaborative environment, where no day is the same. Training and mentoring is available through the Communications Centre of Excellence and the team run regular team sessions and away days to share skills and input into wider communications strategic planning.What are we looking for from you Experience of supporting teams or individuals completing administrative tasks requiring a strong attention to detail, ideally within a communications context (other sectors will be considered). Works collaboratively with colleagues or others to ensure shared goals are achieved across ongoing work and/or project delivery.
