Job Description

Claims Complaints Coordinator - Remote working up to £30k per annum plus benefits packageA vacancy has arisen within this specialist ground engineering contractor for a Home Based Customer Claims Complaints Coordinator. Hours of work - Monday - Friday shifts between 8:30am - 17:30pm.Key responsibilities:

  • Duties will involve providing customers with advice and support when they raise a claim/complaint.
  • Processing new and existing customer claims in line with established complaint procedures.
  • Collecting accurate information and evidence from the customer in order for their claim/complaint to proceed.
  • Maintaining claim/complaint records.
  • Analysing and investigating the claim/complaint with key internal stakeholders.
  • Being a key point of contact for customers with open claims.
  • Presenting claims/complaints for further investigation to the engineering team, by ensuring you understand what the customer is alleging.
  • Seeking advice and guidance from key external stakeholders where required pertaining to a claim/complaint.
  • Ensuring that the customer is kept updated throughout the lifecycle of their matter.
  • Impeccably managing all administrative responsibilities pertaining to the customer claim/complaint.
  • There will be Ad Hoc activities that will need to be carried out as and when.
About you:
  • Complaints handling experience within a claims environment
  • Ideally have experience of Subsidence/Building Claims handling experience or good Subsidence/Engineering/Buildings knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills experience via telephone and face to face
  • Exceptional Customer service skills where providing a quality, first class customer service is key with the goal to provide a solution
  • Good organisational skills and be able to work in a pressured environment
  • Comfortable working remotely in a demanding role dealing with difficult situations
  • Possess a can do attitude
  • Willing and able to learn quickly
  • Be positive and have the ability to turn a difficult situation into a positive outcome
  • Have the ability to show empathy whilst being assertive
