Job Description

Start Date: January 2022 Pay: KR7 £23,033-£26,075 (pro-rata £10,984-£12,435)We are looking for a committed and enthusiasticChildren in Care Lead to join our skilful team. The role is permanent,20 hours per week term time, plus 5 inset days and 5 additionaldays.There may be the opportunity for this role to become full time, term time only.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: To ensure the effective spending of the PP+ Grantto promote positive progress of CiC and previously CiC, and report on this toSLT.To leadon the completion of PEPs, includingarranging and chairing meetings and preparing and completingpaperwork.To prepare for and attend CiC reviewmeetings.To monitor progress of CiC pupils and liaise withVP with CiC responsibility to ensure academic/ pastoralintervention is timelyand appropriate.To mentor CiC and previously CiCpupils.To provide transition support for CiC andpreviously CiC pupils at all key stages, and for those at risk ofNEET.To work alongside SVP/HOH/House Managers toprovide support and liaisonwith families of CiC as needed.To lead on the completion of Medical Care Plansand liaise with the House and families as needed.Full details of the role can be found in theaccompanying job description which also includes a person specification.If you are hardworking,a team player, can use yourinitiative, have a good sense of humour and willing to go the extra mile, thenwe would love to hear from you.
