New Wimbledon Theatre is the closest regional theatre to London with a large seating capacity (1,600), good technical facilities, excellent transport links, a 100-seat Studio and a strong customer offer.We are looking to expand our pool of casual technicians.In particular we are looking for individuals with a strong and demonstrated portfolio in Sound. As a member of our sound Crew, you will work closely with the resident Stage Manager, Chief Electrician and touring management teams participating in the safe andsmooth installation of sound equipment during get-ins, show cues, pre-sets and post show requirements. You must have strong and demonstrated experience sound and equipment installation. A comprehensive understanding of sound and relay systems is important,as is a good knowledge of rope work and rigging. The Ideal applicant will be a multi-skilled worker with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and can-do attitude. We are particularly keen on talking to individuals who may have experience inother venues as Sound No.1 roles or sound operating roles.Further information on the role and the skills youll need can be found in our full job description.
