Belcan is hiring on a Permanent basis for a Control and Instrumentation - C&I Engineer to assist our internal engineering team with brownfield design solutions for upgrades to existing Oil & Gas sites.The role is remote with trips to our office in Cheltenham or London and to one of our clients site in the South East as required.Project requirements include development of a concept study or detailed design development for a modification associated with new tanks infrastructure and design of updates to the control and protection systems.The scope is limited to FEED and the detailed design, plus answering questions from the principal contractor.The C&I Engineer is expected to participate in all aspects of the design and design reviews as part of the engineering team. Belcan uses a cloud-based document control solution and issue documentation electronically.Typical deliverables include:Specifications for equipment and interfaces with existing control & protection systems.Mark-up and review construction and deconstruction cable routing, hook-ups, loops, location drawings.Responsible for C&I aspects of project delivery including technical and quality compliance.Assistance with HMI designs.
