Our technology keeps our roads moving safely.Yunex Traffic is looking for a creative writing professional to join our Bids and Proposals team. We are keen to hear from experienced Bid writingprofessionals or someone who has outstanding writing skills and is keen to pursue a career in Bid Writing.What will you do As a Bid Writer you will be working alongside other Bid Writers and Bid Managers, with access to established bid writing resources aswell as knowledgeable support and camaraderie. * Take responsibility for the timely delivery of high-quality, well-presented written content for bids, which may include supporting subject matter experts to produce technical responses. Review customer documentsto understand their requirements, underlying needs, goals, and preoccupations. * Help identify win strategies for public and private sector customers, share them with cross-functional bid teams, and implement them when planning, writing and editing bid responses.* Programme writing tasks, forecasting resourcing needs, identifying critical path risks and escalating issues as appropriate to ensure we deliver consistently high-scoring bid responses. * Facilitate solution reviews, storyboarding (content generation) workshopsand interviews with our sales and operational leads, subject matter experts, bid managers and solution specialists. * Adapt generic content from the bid library and develop new content for bids and for the bid library. * Support the maintenance of the bidlibrary, storing past responses for future reference and updating content. * Contribute to continuous improvement plans based on marker feedback, emerging trends within customer requirements and specifications, and lessons learnt. * Provide editorial feedbackand assistance to other staff. * Contribute to presentations for internal and external stakeholders and for governance purposes.Who are you Although relevant experience is valuable, we are equally interested in your character and approach to work. * Abilityto work to rigid deadlines with strong attention to detail * Ability to edit texts to make them clearer and more concise. * Creative problem solving. * Ability to motivate and inspire others and support cross-functional teams. * Exceptional writing, editingand communication skills. * Computer literacy particularly in MS Office, Teams and SharePoint Please include a covering letter in your application to demonstrate a summary of your work and educational background, qualifications, skills and software competencies.Whatdo we offer * Base salary and annual bonus. * 26 days holiday (increasing up to 29 days with length of service). * 37.5 hour working week including flexible working. * Pension with matching employer contributions of up to 10% of pensionable salary. * Flexiblebenefits to suit your needs. * Employer investment in continuous professional development and industry accreditation where appropriate.About us Were Yunex Traffic.
