Job Description

Test Automation Engineer / £40,000 - £50,000 / South West - Hybrid *JavaScript / Selenium / Cypress / Postman / TestCafe / AWS*A market leading tech company based in the South West are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their growing Engineering teamYoull be involved in all aspects of test automation across their tech stack, which currently consists of (but is not limited to):

  • JavaScript (ES6 and Node.js)
  • React & React Native
  • Amazon Web Services (+Serverless Application Model)
  • Express, Socket.IO, Docker
Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the introduction of automation test frameworks.
  • Introduce and maintain test tools relevant to the business needs and technologies in use
  • Contribute to the increase in automation test coverage
  • Understanding customer requirements, identifying dependencies and risk, and clearly communicating and escalating where appropriate
  • Provide advice on automation testing strategies to team members
  • Responsible for running and reporting on regression test suites
  • Working in an Agile software environment
  • Identifying process and efficiency improvements
Tech Experience:
  • Selenium / Cypress / TestCafe / Postman (Newman)
  • Git version control
  • Designing scalable solutions
  • CI/CD Pipeline creation (GitLab) (desirable)
  • Performance and load testing (Desirable)
  • AWS
