I am currently recruiting for an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist to join an award winning Architectural Practice based in Portishead. This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist to work for amarket leader. The most suitable candidate must hold previous work experience of working for a national house builder/developer. The company already has over 65 employees working for them and due to success in winning new work they are looking to expand thatexisting workforce and recruit an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist.This opportunity would suit an Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist with excellent knowledge of building regulations, the successful individual will be involved in completing a number of duties including preparing masterplans and producing planningsdrawings for submission within the residential and mixed use areas. This role is very much hands-on, so the production of working drawings and technical documents is part of everyday work. In addition, this role requires experience of team management includingmonitoring of deadlines, managing workload, timescales, carrying out employee reviews as well as ensuring compliance with current legislation.The successful candidate would be expected to contribute to the ongoing development and review of company standards and policies. Good client liaison skills and effective communication with other associated professions is essential.Experience of working for developer clients and national house builders is required and a sound technical knowledge and an in-depth understanding of The Building Regulations is essential.Associate Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview
