Grange Park School is an autismspecific provision for children ages 11 to 19 located in a purpose built schoolin Wrotham. We are due to open a satellite KS2 provision located in Stanstedvillage 3 miles from the main school site after Easter. Currently judged as "good" byOfsted, we are ambitious and are well placed to becoming outstanding. We arecommitted to providing our pupils with the best possible learning opportunitiesand supporting them in their development. Grange Park is part of KSENT acollaboration of 24 special schools in Kent. This includes CLASS theCollaborative Learning Alliance. This creates numerous training and developmentopportunities, shared working practices and career progression. We are looking for a committed anddynamic leader to join us as an Assistant Headteacher. Closing Date: 12/03/2021 at 13:00Interviews: To be confirmedInformation about the school Grange Park School is an autismspecific provision for 8 - 19 year olds and has been accredited for over 9years by the National Autistic Society (NAS), who highly commended our school.The school also achieved Advanced Status, which recognises the work we do as aschool to support young people with a diagnosis of autism, in November 2020.The Stansted Site opened inSeptember 2019 following a £400,000 refurbishment modelled on the purpose builtsecondary site. The building is located in the pretty rural village of Stanstednext to the village green. Currently judged as "Good" byOfsted, the school is very well placed to becoming Outstanding and isoversubscribed. Class sizes at the Stansted andWrotham sites are between 11-13 pupils with a teacher and 1-2 learning mentors.At the Partnership collegeslearning mentors are supporting individual students or small groups of studentsaged 16-19 years in the college tutor groups / classrooms and out in thecommunity. The school offers comprehensivetraining in autism, exceptional CPD support and development opportunitiesthrough our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.
