Job Description

Asbestos Manager12 month FTC (Fixed Term Contract)Location: South West of the UKSalary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experienceMix of on site (2 days) and home working (3 days) per weekPanoramic Associates is supporting a Housing Association based in the South West of the UK with the recruitment of an Asbestos Manager to lead the Asbestos, Radon and Legionella/ Water Safety team, and ensure that landlord compliance standards are met forall of their housing units and properties.Supporting the Heads of Safety, Compliance and Regeneration you will deliver a customer focused service, and successful projects in the work stream.Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on the development of policies and procedures
  • Manage budgets of approximately £2.5 million in contract delivery
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are managed and met for each project
  • Be responsible for the operational risk management of Asbestos, Water and Radon
To be considered for the position, you will hold Asbestos P405/ P402 or equivalent Water Safety/ Legionella qualification. You will be able to demonstrate leadership, project management and be a sound decision maker, have specialist understanding and knowledgeof Landlord Compliance, and the current legislation.
