Due to expansion, we are currently seeking experienced Apprenticeship Skills Coaches to join the apprenticeship delivery team.As an accomplished Apprenticeship Skills Coach/Trainer, you can expect:• A starting salary of £32,820, with the potential to increase up to £36,607 based on performance • 28 days of annual leave, with the option to purchase additional days • Benefits such as a season ticket loan and cycle-to-work scheme • Significant discounts on courses for you and your family • Comprehensive private medical, income protection, and life insurance coverage • Access to a confidential helpline, offering 24/7 counseling and support services • Maternity, adoption, shared parental, and paternity/partner pay exceeding statutory levelsKey Responsibilities of an Apprenticeship Skills Coach:• Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to learners as they progress through their apprenticeship programs. • Design and deliver industry-standard learning programs focused on competencies, behaviour’s, and interpersonal skills. • Actively assist, motivate, and inspire learners during their training, facilitating their successful completion. • Develop training plans and group sessions that incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles. • Utilize appropriate resources and materials at a suitable pace and level to meet the needs of individual learners. • Offer constructive feedback and valuable insights to enable learners to reach their full potential. • Evaluate and assess the quality of work produced by learners, ensuring it meets the required standards for their qualifications.Skills and Experience Required for a Skills Coach:• Possess a recognised Assessors Award, such as TAQA or CAVA. • Hold a Leadership and Management qualification at Level 5 or higher, or demonstrate equivalent experience in a practical leadership and management role. • Desirable: Hold a recognized Teaching Qualification. • Experience in teaching, coaching, and delivering apprenticeships up to Level 5. • Proficiency in online coaching platforms, such as Microsoft Teams and Virtual Learning environments. • Possess own transportation with the flexibility to travel and meet with learners where required, however this expectation is less than 10% where applicableTo apply for this position, kindly contact Simon Atkins at at Pertemps Work Based Learning is managing this recruitment process.
