Start Date: As soon as possible Pay: Kent Range 5 Part Time Administration / LIFT Officer 25 hours per week - Term Time only Kent Range 5 - £19,723- £20,893 gross per annumpro-rata TEMPORARY 1 YEAR CONTRACT Do you want to be a part of a committed andsuccessful team who are dedicated to "making a difference" to children andyoung people with SEND, their families and professionals who work with themTonbridge and Malling STLS is one of twelve DistrictSTLS teams in Kent and is committed to providing advice and training to supportsettings and schools to help improve the outcomes for children and young peoplewith SEND. The service operates within mainstream schools and Early Yearssettings in the Tonbridge and Malling District. We are commissioned by KentCounty Council and employed by and based at Nexus School. A solution-focusedapproach is at the heart of all that we do to improve inclusive practice.We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful andcomputer literate Administration Officer who will manage the LIFT (LocalInclusion Forum Team) aspect of the Tonbridge and Malling Specialist Teachingand Learning Service referral process. The successful candidate will need to bea team player and can use initiative to support staff in a busy office and ifpossible have experience of working within a school environment or educationalsetting. The successful candidate will possess excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise theirworkload. Applicants should have administration experience and be computerliterate and have worked with MS Word, Outlook, Publisher and Excel. Experiencewith management information systems is desirable but training will be provided.Applicants should have an excellent and confident telephone manner. You will be an efficient, calm and organisedindividual with the ability to work under pressure and be able to demonstrate ahigh level of administrative skills including dealing with confidential andsensitive material. It is essential that the successful applicant will have awillingness to learning new skills and procedures and you will be required toobserve confidentiality protocols at all times and be GDPR.
